The U.S. Embassy in Maputo is seeking Drivers to be based in Maputo.
Duties
- Operates a passenger vehicle to transport agency personnel and/or Embassy visitors around the city
- Drives in accordance with Embassy dispatcher’s instructions
- Required to work as part of a duty rotation that includes evening, night and weekend shifts
- Expected to serve as an expeditor as required
Requisites
- Completion of Secondary School
- Three years of chauffeur experience
- Level III (good working knowledge) English is required
- Level III (good working knowledge) Portuguese is required
- Familiarity with local laws and area traffic patterns is required
- Possession of local driver’s license is required
- A pleasant demeanor in dealing with Embassy officials, VIPs and other passengers is required
