Electrecian – Heavy Current

PRI is recruiting a Electrecian - Heavy Current, to be based in Tete, Mozambique.

Duties

• Perform planned and breakdown repairs, services and maintenance on generators and/or electrically operated Earthmoving Equipment and components to supplier standards and customer requirements
• Carry out electrical repairs and maintenance on generators and / or Earthmoving Equipment in workshops or on customer sites
• Remove and install electrical components
• Wiring electrical panels (MV & HV)
• Quickly and efficiently deal with all customer electrical breakdowns
• Compile accurate customer service reports
• Effective self-management and performance ownership Maintain field service vehicle and equipment
• Maintain professional image when representing the company
• Ensure safe work practice
• Control Contamination
• Control own admin (labour booking, service reports, part returns, expenses etc.)

Requisites

• Grade 12
• Qualified in relevant trade (Electrician)
• Wireman’s licence
• Machine specific technical knowledge and skills
• Applicable product knowledge
• Sound interpersonal and communication skills
• Basic technical report writing
• Basic business and financial understanding
• Some Computer Literacy (SIS, STW & ET) knowledge
• Basic trouble shooting and problem solving skills
• Applicable product knowledge
• Drivers license Code B
• Understanding of supplier warranty systems, policies & procedures
• Proficiency in Portuguese and English language
• Minimum 5 years experience in similar position
• Availability to travel
• Mozambican Nationality
• Age: 25 to 35
