English / Portuguese Instructor

US Embassy is recruiting a English / Portuguese Instructor, to be based in Maputo.

Duties

• Incumbent serves as the English Language Instructor for LE Staff members, and backs up the Portuguese language instructors who serve US Direct Hires and Eligible Family Members (EFMs) of the U.S. Mission Maputo, Mozambique

Requisites

• Completion of a 4 year college degree in education, linguistics, and/or language interpretation is required
• A minimum of two years’ experience in training, teaching, or language instruction, utilizing instructional design principles and techniques
• Level IV (fluency – reading, writing, speaking) proficiency in written and spoken English is required
• Level V (native/fluency) Portuguese is required
