ERM is one of the world’s leading providers of environmental, health & safety, risk and sustainability consulting services. We are looking for individuals with established consultancy skills to rapidly take up key roles in our Maputo offices
Duties
- Help our clients to implement Environment, Health and Safety Management Systems and to integrate them with other operating systems in place
- Manage EHS projects and audits on various facilities in Mozambique and other African countries
Requisites
- Experience implementing OHSAS 18000 and ISO 14000 or similar systems and undertaking EHS audits
- A strong understanding of the Mozambique EHS legal requirements
- Experience monitoring and oversight during construction, undertaking Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment and Industrial Safety will be an asset
- Mozambican nationality
- BSc in a scientific Environmental Science, Geology, Biology, Geoghaphy, or an engineering discipline
- Fluent in English and Portuguese, with strong writing and speaking skills
- Experience in Oil & Gas, Mining, Power and/or Manufacturing sectors and international environments
- Knowledge of Mozambican and/or other African environmental legislative frameworks
