Description
- The U.S. Mission in Maputo/Mozambique is seeking eligible and qualified applicants for the position of Environment, Science, Technology and Health (ESTH) Specialist
Duties
- Under supervision of Environment, Science, Technology, and Health (ESTH) Officer, the ESTH/Community Grants Program Specialist serves as the subject matter expert, and tracks and reports on developments in the ESTH portfolio
- The incumbent also manages all aspects of the section's community grants, including the Ambassador's Special Self-Help (SSH) Program, through the entire lifecycle of the federal assistance grant lifecyle (pre-award, award, post-award, and closeout)
- Also conducts public outreach for the ESTH & SSH programs, drafts reporting cables, drafts notifications for competitive funding opportunities, and contributes to design of assistance programs
