PRI is recruiting a Environmental, Social and Government Relations Assistant Manager, to be based in Zambézia, Mozambique.
Duties
- Coordinate, review and follow up on matters such a as Environmental Impact Assessment and Resettlement Action Plan
- Implement the Environmental and Social Management Plan
- Manage the implementation of the Resettlement Action Plan
- Manage the development and implementation of an internal Environmental, Social, Health and Safety systems
- Ensure compliance with Mozambican environmental law by following requisite legal processes
- Audit and report on environmental and social performance to internal and external clients
Requisites
- Diploma or Degree in related areas such as Ecology, Environmental Economy or Environmental tourism
- At least 3 years’ experience in community development projects and administration
- Broad Knowledge of the Environmental and Social assessment
- Experience with development and implementation enterprise business management systems
- Experience and understanding of agriculture/agribusiness and rural development would be an advantage
- Good communication and Management skills in English and Portuguese
