The purpose of this position is to support multiple field projects/sites by assisting the company’s field personnel meet the needs of the client as specified in the contract.
This position typically reports to the Operations Manager. This position has minimal supervision and directly supervises multiple Site Managers.
Duties
- Makes routine visits to sites representing the company’s products and services to interface with site management (client)
- Ensures proper records are kept regarding contracts, safety and quality. Ensures Accounts Receivable accounts are kept to date
- Monitors project profit and loss performances with regard to tool, equipment, and maintenance accounts, investigates problem areas and initiates corrective action
- Assists in establishing tool and equipment schedules and forecasts; also assists with revenue and sales projections on a monthly basis
- Maintains and promotes good member relations by consistently
Requisites
- College degree preferred
- 5 – 10 years site/project management or branch experience
- Moderate computer software skills; advanced in spreadsheets
- Moderate travel
- Excellent knowledge of construction equipment and tools
- Working knowledge of Mozambique Safety and ANSI standards
- Valid vehicle driver’s license
- Excellent communication skills for internal and external contacts
- Ability to effectively supervise and improve work processes
- Bilingual Portuguese/English
- Must be authorized to work in the country where the position is located
