PSI is recruiting a Finance and Administration Manager (F&A) (m/f), to be based in Maputo, Mozambique.
Description
- PSI seeks a Finance and Administration (F&A) Manager to lead the financial management of activities under an anticipated 5-year USAID-funded project with PSI Mozambique. The project anticipates supporting the increase of sustainable access to sanitation services in Mozambique, focusing on small towns and peri-urban areas. The overall strategic goal is to improve communities’ well-being, especially women and girls in Mozambique, by ensuring increased use and sustainable management of sanitation services via the two interrelated objectives: 1) Availability of water and sanitation services expanded; 2) Adoption of key WASH behaviors accelerated
Duties
- The F&A Manager will be responsible for the effective financial management of the program, including but not limited to accounting, sub-grant management, timely and accurate donor, and PSI/Washington financial reporting
- Ensure financial operations following USAID regulations and comply with PSI policies and standard operating procedures
- Prepare and submit financial reports to USAID
Requisites
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field, Master’s Degree or higher in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance preferred
- Preference is given for Certified Chartered Accountant
- 7 years of experience in managing, increasing roles of responsibility in finance, procurement, contracts management, logistics, and/or human resource-related matters for international development activities of similar scope and size
- Demonstrated experience on Financial Analysis and providing regular Financial Projections internally and to the donor (USAID) preferred
- Demonstrated supervisory experience of professional staff
- Excellent diplomatic, oral/written skills and presentation abilities
- Fluent in Portuguese and English (spoken and written)
- Strong preference for a citizen of Mozambique
