Finance Responsible (m/f)

Duties

• Performs integrity checks balances on a regular basis and takes corrective measures
• Ensures accuracy and completeness of accounting transactions in accordance with financial procedures
• Helps ensure that operations run smoothly through efficient cash-flow management, covering the fund needs of the delegation and ensuring that all accounting transactions are posted accurately and in a timely manner needs
• Always keeps files up to date and guarantees proper filling of relevant supporting documents for future reference, including audits
• Supervises and participates in monthly closing activities with limited guidance
• Provides support to other departments and responds to complex technician/non-standard inquiries when necessary
• Gives guidance to accountants 1 and 2
• Identifies, reports on and solves anomalies or technical issues
• Acts as super user for field computer applications when required

Requisites

• At least 6-8 years work experience in a similar field
• Experience of international organizations an asset
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent plus specialization in accounting
• Fluent command in English
• Computer proficiency
• Very good knowledge in accounting software including integrated enterprise resource planning (ERP) software
