Duties

- Shareholders & Business partners

- Responsible for achieving financial (subscriber growth, operating profit, cash flow), operational and customer retention targets
- Responsibility for subsidy management and execution of the Sales Strategies
- Be the focal point for Regulatory issues in the country including new legislations, regulations and technological developments impacting on the sector
- Take responsibility for overall Logistics and Distribution drive for the business
- Take responsibility for Customer Service delivery
- Monitor and Propose Strategies to keep Group Mozambique Competitive
- Monitor financial and performance targets of the company
- Maintain relationships between Shareholders / Business Partners / 3rd Party/Stakeholder
- Maintain Sound Relationships between Broadcasters, Group Africa Limited and key programme suppliers
- Co-ordinate implementation of Business Process
- Develop culture of customer centricity
- Manage subscriber management services
- Identify business opportunities that align with the strategy of the company
- Formulate /Implement /monitor business strategy
- Prepare board papers
- Pension Fund Trust Management
- Draft and negotiate agreements
- Working capital management – cash flows
- Manage financial discipline re: financial policies and procedures and internal controls
- Produce General management reports
- Liaise with bankers, auditors, suppliers and subscribers
- Manage annual budget and forecast exercises
- Manage statutory and tax obligations
- Manage corporate image & reputation
- Manage corporate social investment (CSI) programmes
- Manage and develop staff
Requisites
- Business acumen and sound financial skills
- Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree
- Master’s degree in Business Management
- 10 years’ experience in Business Management
- 5 year Commercial experience running an enterprise at a senior management level
- General management experience
