Head of Security

PRI is recruiting a Head of Security, to be based in Maputo.

Duties

• Create, maintain information security policies and standards with industry best practice and business needs
• Ensure all new and existing applicable regulatory requirements are addressed

Requisites

• Proven track record of solid leadership skills
• Ability to communicate effectively across a spectrum of Business, Creative, and Technology personnel at all levels of the organization
• Ability to lead and mentor direct reports
• Ability to work under continual deadline constraints
• Ability to adapt to fluctuating team priorities and organizational directions
• Ability to work independently as well as with a team
• 5+ years of experience in information security, or related experience required; experience in the financial services industry is a plus
• Strong project management experience
• Experience with SharePoint
• Experience managing staff issues, including selection, training, orientation, assignment of duties as well as performance evaluations and recommendations for personnel actions
• Strong interpersonal skills, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organization skills and an ability to multi task to meet multiple deadlines in short time frames
• Proven track record of effectively delivering results in a fast paced environment while managing multiple priorities
