Description
- The U.S. Mission in Maputo/Mozambique is seeking eligible and qualified applicants for the position of Health Infrastructure Development Specialist
Duties
- The Health Infrastructure Development Specialist position is located within the Health Systems (HSS) Branch of CDC/Mozambique
- The primary purpose of this position is to support President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) activities by providing oversight to health infrastructure projects to support HIV/AIDS service delivery across the clinical care cascade
- The employee will also provide technical assistance and support to the Government of Mozambique on health infrastructure projects
- The position will require engagement and close collaboration with technical staff from other organizations that support health infrastructure in Mozambique, notably the Ministry of Health, the Global Fund for HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis, and Malaria, and other bilateral donors
- S/he will also serve as the activity officer for one or more cooperative agreements that provide support for infrastructure and asset needs under PEPFAR
- Supervised by Health Systems Team Lead
