Total is recruiting a Hospitality Officer (m/f), to be based in Maputo, Mozambique.
Duties
Functional interface focal point
- Receive from the HR department lists of new expatriates requiring accommodation and office space in Maputo
- Meet and greet new expatriates on arrival from the airport at their assigned accommodation Provide a housing induction to the new expatriates ensuring they are aware of all safety and security devices as well as provide general information about the complex/accommodation
- Ensure a groceries (welcome pack) is available prior to new expatriates’ arrival
- Function as the point of contact with the expatriates for all Office and accommodation support
- Function as the point for contact between the expatriate and the facilities maintenance team for all maintenance requests for follow up and providing timely feedback
- Regular engagement with the Maintenance Representative and Security Supervisor to ensure maintenance, safety and security concerns are timely mitigated
- Prepare a variety of reports including a weekly activity report
- Host regular meetings with the residents committee to learn about common concerns and provide feedback on previous issues
Administrative
- Manage information flow between the different stakeholders to ensure feedback to the expatriates expectations is provided
- Manage the information flow between the different stakeholders to ensure accurate feedback is provided to the expatriates in a reasonable time
- Ensure that the houses/apartments are completely equipped in accordance to the inventory list
- In coordination with the Facilities Representative, allocate housing to resident expatriates following the “Local Administration Rules for Expatriates Assigned to TEPMA1” policy
- Maintain an accurate accommodation POB system
Requisites
- The successful candidate will have to meet the following requirements:
- Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years relevant Management/Supervisory experience required
- Experience in a multi-national company is highly valued
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Customer Relations or similar role
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills – strong collaborator and excellent coordination skills
- Ability to work effectively with other departments, under pressure, delivering services with quality and on time
- Portuguese and English proficiency
- Education Skills and Experience:
- Minimum High School equivalent
- Business school training a plus
- Computer skills including proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required
