HR Administrative Unpaid Internship

US Embassy is recruiting a HR Administrative Unpaid Internship, to be based in Maputo, Mozambique.

Duties
  • Assist HR Training and Development team with Training trackers updates, organizing training files, filling training documents and general administrative support. This position holder must be have strong organizational skills, be at an intermediate level in Excel and Outlook and prepared to work in a professional and punctual manner. This person also must have training and Development background and must speak English and Portuguese (level IV). Duties include
  • Update training at Web pass and training trackers spreadsheet
  • Keep PLP Portuguese and English student’s trackers updated
  • Organize training files for temporary hires
  • Help with PLP staff meeting agenda
  • Labeling Chancery library books
  • File training reports at employees personal files
  • Assist with training logistics
  • Assist with training SOPs
  • Other duties as assigned
Requisites
  • All applicants must address each selection criterion in their DS-174 application and Certificates confirming education detailed below with specific and comprehensive information supporting each item in ENGLISH
  • If that area is not clearly addressed or there is ambiguity, the application will not be considered further. Language skills will be tested. Any application received in Portuguese will not be considered
  • Only English applications will be received and considered
  • At least two years of University level or recent graduate in Social sciences, Education, or Humanities, Human Resources, Business, Management or Administration
  • Level 4 Speaking/Reading/Writing English is required (This will be tested)
  • Level 4 (Fluency) Speaking/Reading/Writing Portuguese is required. (This will be tested)
  • Must have ability to work independently and multitask, good communications skills, flexibility, and attention to details
