A Heading Mozambique is looking for an HR Administrator for a Multinational client to be based in Nampula.
Duties
- Responsible for keeping all personnel records
- Preparation of all new hire candidates’ interviews, extend the letter of employment offers to the successful ones and issue employment contracts
- Communicate and coordinate all ‘new hire’ documentation requirements to all personnel prior to commencement
- Coordinate the acquisition of WCA and health insurance for all new hires as well as keeping records of their validities
- Monitor Probation Period of New Starters & issue letters, where applicable
- Coordinate, administer and maintain records of all new hire compulsory induction requirements as per company processes
- Registers and maintain all personnel information with the company’s payroll department
- Communicate and coordinate the demobilization process of the project staff including issuing of all mandatory legal documents
- New Hire / Terminations / Change of Details advice to Finance/Payroll, IT and Office Manager for all personnel
- HR Communications to personnel including HR policies and procedures, new starters, and coordination of allocations onto the various project sites
- Ensure HR related statutory documents are displayed on the notice boards as required by the Government authorities
- Keep updated records of all different leaves taken by project staff members
- Advise and coordinate company sponsored temporary residency and work permits applications process and keep an update records of such, including entry and exit dates due for each expatriated employee
- Compile and display the staff annual leave plan as required by Department of Labour
Requisites
- Certificate in HR (Advantage)
- Portuguese with a high proficiency in English
- 5 years’ experience working in the HR department in large projects or similar
