ADPP is recruiting a HR Manager, to be based in Maputo, Mozambique.
Duties
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall organizational strategy
- Support current and future organizational needs through the development, engagement, motivation and preservation of human capital
- Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics and procedures across the organization
- Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues
- Nurture a positive working environment
- Manage the recruitment and selection process
- Manage and maintain the legal status of all international staff
- Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance
- Maintain pay plan and benefits program
- Track and support changes across projects
- Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics
- Ensure legal compliance
- Engage trade union on matters of employees’ interests
- Engage external stakeholders on matter related to human capital
- Provide advisory support to management on leadership issues
- Champion policy review and implementation across projects
Requisites
- At least 5 years’ experience as HR manager
- People oriented and results driven
- Knowledge of HR systems and databases
- Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills
- Excellent active listening, negotiation and presentation skills
- Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
- In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices
- University degree in Human Resources Management or related field
