CONTACT is recruiting for their client, a company operating in the banking sector, a Human Capital BP Admin Support, to be based in Maputo, Mozambique.
Duties
  • While ensuring the smooth operation of HC (human capital) initiatives, the HC BP Admin Support will be responsible for providing comprehensive administrative and operational support to the HC team, focusing on areas such as recruitment, employee records management, benefits administration, and compliance
  • The main duties are to maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and share with the HC Ops team for due filing
  • Ensure compliance with data protection regulations
  • Assist in the recruitment process by posting job ads via workday, scheduling interviews, and preparing interview paperwork and support with background check processes
  • Coordinate onboarding logistics, prepare welcome packs, and assist with the collection of required documentation for new hires
  • Draft movement letters and offboarding paperwork including JML report on a monthly basis
  • Regularly update employee data in the Human Capital Management system (sharepoint, staff report & structures) to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Help ensure that HC practices comply with legal and regulatory requirements
  • Assist in preparing reports and documentation for compliance and audit purposes
  • Assist in distributing internal communications related to HC policies, updates, and initiatives
  • Tracking of regular check-ins and report
  • Provide frontline support for employee questions and concerns, directing them to the appropriate BP within the HC team
Requisites
  • High school diploma required, Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
  • Experience: 1-3 years of administrative support experience, preferably in a Human Resources or Human Capital environment
  • Proficiency in HRIS (Human Resource Information Systems) and MS Office Suite
  • Being experienced with Workday would be an advantage
  • Fluent in Portuguese and English
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Creative and digital savvy
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy
  • Be available for a 9-month employment contract
