Remote Site Solutions is hiring a Human Resources Manager for Pemba.
Duties
- Oversee all matters of human resource, industrial relations, payroll and employee relations
- Staff population in excess of 500 over 10 different business units
- Oversee recruitment and termination processes
- Be an advocate for staff
- Staff recognition and reward program initiation
- End goal is to ensure preferred employer status is reached
- Consults with local labour law departments (advising and Interpreting labour law)
- Drive internal recruit
- Writes and implements policy where required
- Grievance and Disciplinary protocols
- Training of personnel
- Management of a small effective team
- Expatriate workforce as well as local workforce
Requisites
- Senior Level HR manager required
- Formal Human Resource Degree required as a minimum
- Strong Negotiator
- Ability to be discreet and ethical
- High level of written and oral communication skills
- Language skills, English and Portuguese, Swahili also an advantage
- Experience with Change Management and Conflict resolution
- Experience implementing performance review processes
