The U.S. Embassy is recruiting a Human Resources Training Assistant Intern (m/f), to be based in Maputo, Mozambique.
Description
- The Human Resources Training Assistant intern will be exposed to all functions performed within STATE HR for Locally Employed Staff Programs. The project emphasis will be supporting the Training and Development Program and Maputo Leadership Academy - MLA Program. Additionally, he/she will be directing customer requests for HR services, must be organized and work efficiently with few or no reminders, must be self-directed and willing to learn. Attention to detail, customer service excellence oriented and respect for confidentially are essential
- Work hours: Part-time; 20 hours/week
- Salary: Unpaid Internship
- Length of hire: January 17, 2022 – July 15, 2022 (6 months)
Duties
- Assist with Training logistics
- Maintenance of all mission Training records
- Assist with Maputo Leadership academy logistics
- Training SOP updates
- Labeling library books and inventory updates
- Support the Human Resources Assistant (HRA) with the organization and maintenance of section SharePoint
- Support HRA to create electronic files for LE staff
- Assist with general administrative HR activities as required
Requisites
- Language: English and Portuguese (Write, Speak, Listen) Level 3. (This will be tested)
- Computer: Very good knowledge of Microsoft Suite, Excel, Power Point and analytics software
- Education: College (2 years) in Human Resources, Management, Psychology, Adult Education or Organizational Development
- Experience: Not required
