Improved Cooking Stove (ICS) Expert

Duties

• The ICS Expert will provide expertise with reference to the use of Improved Cooking Stoves
• He or she will provide technical advice to the evaluation team during the evaluation of proposals and to monitoring team during Project implementation. The advice required will be on the systems itself (technical validity) and the business model proposed
• Provide technical advice to the evaluation commissions validating the proposed systems by the Applicants as well as the business model proposed
• Provide technical advice following to the Project Monitoring Officers on the systems developed by the Implementing Partners as well as the business model proposed

Requisites

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent in the area of Energy practices
• 5 years of international professional experience in energy related field, power engineering renewable energy
• A proven track-record in working on and advising for ICS systems
• Strong skills in communication
• Previous work experience in Mozambique is an advantage
• Fluency in spoken and written English, Portuguese is an advantage
