Industrial Manager (m/f)

Duties

• Provide Corporate Management with regular updates on work and progress and support the corporate team in the development of investment proposals to drive the industrialization of the company
• Liaise with Finance & Control to structure budgeting, cost control, and reporting systems, procurement and stores in accordance with organizational slip and division of responsibilities
• Advise corporate management team on the development of industrial operations and draw on the support that exists in the wider Group
• Prepare budgets and cash flow for industrial operations
• Develop, maintain and manage an effective organization
• Develop Cost and Profit Models
• Manage sales and customer contracts
• Ensure procurement and purchase procedures are followed and are efficient
• Inbound and, where necessary, outbound logistics
• Equipment and assets as well as initiate disposal processes for redundant assets
• Industrial development including the expansion of existing productions lines
• Ensure all processes are managed in line with all group procedures and policies as well as compliance to FSC standards
• Undertake any other responsibilities and duties that may be assigned from time to time the Corporate Office

Requisites

• Degree or other qualifications in forestry, engineering or other relevant disciplines
• Proven experience and successful track record implementing forestry projects covering in excess of 10,000ha of plantation forest and volumes of 100,000m3 or more per annum
• More than 10 years of working experience in Forest Management, Harvesting and Wood Processing
• Experience in analyzing databases and producing reports for various audiences
• Extensive training, knowledge, and experience in wood processing
• Harvesting and Haulage experience
• Experience in producing communications material (such as press releases)
• Good knowledge of computer systems (Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Micro Forest)
