Sweco is recruiting a International TVET Expert as team leader, to be based in Sofala, Manica and Inhambane, Mozambique.
Requisites
- At least a Master’s Degree in his/her respective profession
- Not less than 10 years’ experience in similar TVET projects, including assessment and selection of TVET institutes, planning of TVET development, TVET needs assessment, TVET management and maintenance concepts and their implementation, of which not less than five years should have been as a Project Manager and Team Leader. This experience should preferably include procurement of TVET equipment and materials as well as coordinating with and acting as interface to planners of infrastructure (architects and engineers)
- Proven ability to manage detailed planning and supervision aspects of projects of this nature. The Team Leader must have experience in comparable working environments and institutional set-ups
- Experience in financial management of internationally -funded projects and management of disposition funds
- Experience in coordination between Financial Cooperation and Technical Assistance
- Working experience in various developing countries, particularly Sub -Saharan Africa, and in Portuguese -speaking countries
- Working experience in Mozambique, preferably in the same area of expertise, is an asset
- Flexibility to adapt to a dynamic environment, without losing sight of the objectives
- Excellent knowledge of relevant computer programmes
- Be fluent in English and Portuguese
