Duties
- Provides technical support in the use of ICT (Software, Hardware and Network)
- Sets up and configure computers, peripherals and accounts assigning security levels
- Install software and undertake basic repairs both relating to software and hardware
- Guide teachers on integration of ICT in teaching learning
- Update Inventory List of all ICT equipment
- Ensure basic support / training for MS Office products
- Tests programs
- Troubleshoots, diagnose problems, implements corrective action procedures within prescribed guidelines and/or escalates to other technical resources as appropriate
- Maintain all users access request and authorizations (Windows, E-mail)
- Administer user accounts
- Set up and submit production jobs and edits and debugs computer output
- Provide basic troubleshooting on hardware, software and network devices
- Acts as a customer liaison for the computing operation, communicating, resolving, and/or initiating the resolution of problems and concerns
Requisites
- Degree in IT or equivalent with data processing training, computer operations training
- Three years of relevant experience (preferably in an educational institution)
- Knowledge of installation and configuration of windows server 2012 (shared folder, DHCP, DNS) windows 10 and other Microsoft Products
- Knowledge of LAN and Wireless Network
- The ability to think logically
- Problem solving skills
- Knowledge of a variety of hardware as well as software
- Willingness to fully participate in the life of the Academy
- Flexibility about working hours needed to fulfill requirements
- Excellent communications skills in English and Portuguese
- Valued additional assets: Experience working in a cross-cultural environment; Commitment to the co-curricular life of the school is expected
