IT Manager (m/f)

Duties

• Ensure IT and OT systems adhere to company standards
• Meeting with local managers to discuss system needs
• Installing/replacing computer hardware as required
• Installing, updating, and maintaining networking systems
• Troubleshooting network and software issues
• Monitoring of software security systems
• Training staff on newly installed hardware and software systems
• Responding to general IT requests
• Ensuring security software is kept up to date
• Filing regular reports to the IT Manager
• Assist with budget management and financial tracking and reporting of IT assets

Requisites

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, MIS or similar field
• Good communication skills with the ability to convey technical issues to all levels
• Working as part of a team whilst showing an ability to work on own initiative
• Attention to detail
• Good problem solving
• The ability to think quickly under pressure
• Core Networking and Server technology knowledge
• Understanding of key Security standards such as ISO 27001
• Knowledge of Cloud Computing and the associated Security risk and control considerations
• Breadth of subject matter expertise across the following technologies: (TCP/IP, LAN and WAN networking,
• Network Security (Firewalling, IPS SIEM, Vulnerability Management)
• Broad understanding of current Information Security technologies, vulnerabilities, exploits, exposures, and malicious behaviours
• Experience with Disaster Recovery exercises
