Junior Accountant (m/f)

Duties

• Guarantee the control and monitoring of Insurance (Workmen's Compensation Insurance, Health Insurance, Life Insurance)
• Ensure all vendor invoices are posted in time
• Send emails to suppliers requesting the statement for verification and ensuring that all invoices are accounted
• Sending pop after payment with the list of invoices paid and slicing updated statement;
• Control Petty Cash
• Deal with Intercompany, processing WHT and payment to supplier
• VAT process – ensure that all invoices are sent to TAX consultants
• Assist in the calculation of taxes INSS, IRPS, IVA, IRPC
• Process outgoing payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures
• Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, and recording accounts payable data
• Reconcile the accounts payable ledger to ensure that all bills and payments are accounted for and properly posted
• Verify and investigate discrepancies, if any, by reconciling vendor accounts and monthly vendor statements
• Facilitate payment of invoices due by sending bill reminders and contacting clients
• Generate reports detailing accounts payables status
• Understand expense accounts and cost centers

Requisites

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or any related field
• Minimum 2 years of work experience
• Computer Skills (Outlook, Windows, MS Excel, MS Word, MS Access, Primavera and Power point)
• Ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures in a timely manner
• Fluent in English language written and spoken
