GAIN is recruiting a Junior Associate, Behaviour Change Unit (m/f), to be based in Nampula, Mozambique.
Description
  • The Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition (GAIN) is seeking a highlight motivated individual with experience in supporting international development projects to join the Behaviour Change Unit as a Junior Associate. This role is based in Mozambique, working from our partner offices in Nampula province
Duties
  • Reporting to the Transforming Nutrition (TN) and Collaborating, Learning and Adapting (CLA) Coordinatror, the Junior Associate will support the implementation of several donor funded nutrition projects in Nampula. Role specifics include;
  • Assist the setting up of Nutrition Groups created for the BDC project
  • Ensure that materials for the Emo Demos and Heroine Game are properly organized and delivered on time to the facilitators
  • Conduct training of trainers for the Emo-Demos and Heroine game
  • Conduct regular supervision visits to GAIN’s nutrition activities, under the Dutch funded projects and TN
  • Support the development of a monitoring system for the Emo Demos and Heroin Game interventions
  • Review monitoring data and provide feedback to implementing partners
  • Assisting in documenting projects results in various forms, including media stories, lessons learned, case studies and other areas
  • Support the development and organization of any qualitative and quantitative evaluations of GAIN’s nutrition interventions and TN interventions in Nampula Province
Requisites
  • You will need to have a solid understanding of project management principles as well as experience in effective networking and communication with partners
  • You should be motivated to deliver against agreed project milestones and be able to demonstrate great organisational skills to manage your workload
  • You musty have experience working in the international development sector, preferably with a focus on nutrition and/or education
