Laboratory Field Service Engineer

Separation Scientific is recruiting a Laboratory Field Service Engineer, to be based in Maputo.

Duties

• Laboratory Field Service Engineer, diagnoses faulty equipment, makes repairs, or replaces, installs, modifies or relocates laboratory instruments and equipment
• Performs circuit analyses, and applies electronic principles in order to fault-isolate and repair the various digital devices contained in highly complex laboratory instruments
• Additional duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: installing, modifying, and repairing new and/or existing laboratory instruments and equipment
• Modifying and balancing various elements of systems designed to meet a wide variety of extreme and critical conditions
• Reviewing plans or specifications to determine the size, shape, and location of equipment; for installations planning
• Must be available to travel overseas for training
• Must be available to travel nationally and internationally to perform installations, maintenance and repairs on laboratory instruments and equipment

Requisites

• Degree in Electrical Engineering
• Possession of a valid Mozambican driving license
• Minimum of three years in laboratory maintenance field
• Fluent English
• Preferably between 25 to 40 years old
• Mozambican Nationality is preferred
