Logistics Manager

Description

• AflaLivre Mocambique SA is a Mozambican producer and distributor of the granular biopesticide Aflasafe, and a processor of shelled ground nuts for domestic consumption and exports. Our vision is to reduce the aflatoxin levels in Mozambique, to improve human and animal well-being by reducing health risks caused by aflatoxin, and to increase prevalence of high-quality Mozambican groundnuts in international markets and develop a strong local market for aflatoxin-free goods. We are seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to be responsible for the overall supply chain management

Duties

• Planning and managing logistics, warehouse, transportation and customer services Directing, optimizing and coordinating full order cycle
• Liaising and negotiating with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers and consumers
• Delivery to clients, dealers, cooperatives, and field activities
• Procuring ingredients, supplies and managing ground nut aggregation
• Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency

Requisites

• Proven working experience as a Logistics Manager
• Minimum bachelor’s degree in business administration, Logistics or Supply Chain Management
• Computer literacy with MS Office
• Fluent in English
• Abilities:
• Exhibit initiative, responsibility, and flexibility
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects
• Mozambique drivers’ license, forklift certificate
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Letter of interest (in Portuguese and English)
• Curriculum Vitae with photo (in Portuguese and English)
