Logistics Specialist

Heading is recruiting a Logistics Specialist, to be based in Veral Places, Mozambique.

Duties

• To provide the development project team with specialist logistics support during feasibility studies, basic design and execution, advising on transportation, import/export, storage, accommodation, and associated issues
• To ascertain condition of hull, machinery, equipment and equipage and to determine ship acceptance and assessment of any may be required for marine vessels and watercraft, such as ships, boats, tankers, and dredges
• Inspects above waterline section of ship, such as hatchways, freeing ports, ventilators, bulkheads, fittings, and attachments, for compliance with operating standards, and compliance with standards for protection of crew
• To inspect and certify vessels conditions at on hire and off hire in order to ascertain tanks levels for fuel, lubricants, consumables in general

Requisites

• Technical Diploma or Petroleum Engineering (preferred)
• Marine Warranty Surveying and Marine InspectionsCertificate (mandatory)
• Offshore survival course (mandatory if job requires Offshore work)
• Project Management and Economical Evaluation of Projects (basic)
• 3 years of Oil & Gas Industry experience
• 5 years of logistics experience
