Machinery and Equipment Salesperson

PRI is recruiting a Machinery and Equipment Salesperson, to be based in Maputo and Pemba, Mozambique.

Duties

• Identify bid opportunities
• Prepare bid responses
• Negotiate with potential customers
• Build and maintaining customer relationships
• Achieve or exceed sales objectives
• Serve as technical consultant to customers
• Target, qualify and pursue leads in accordance with company strategy and techniques
• Plan and perform sales calls, appointments, and site visits
• Provides accurate weekly forecasting, including deal value, status, decision makers and steps to close

Requisites

• A Bachelor’s degree is a plus
• 2 years sales experience in Construction/Mechanical Equipments is preferred
• Previous experience working in the construction/Mechanical equipments industry is beneficial
• Must be people-oriented, aggressive, sales driven and a team player
• Must be exceptionally self-disciplined
• Possess excellent customer service skills
• Maintain a professional business appearance at all times
• Must be able to build prospects and business relationships
