Maintenance Engineer

Capital Outsourcing is recruiting a Maintenance Engineer, to be based in Ressano Garcia.

Duties

• Fault finding during production
• Performing planned and predictive maintenance
• Assessing need of spare parts
• Undertake effective planning and prioritization of workload wherever necessary
• Complete and maintain accurate, timely documentation and records as required by the business
• On a daily basis, adapt maintenance tools and procedures to improve equipment utilization and reliability, and minimize service quality incidents
• Ensure an effective shift system, optimizing labour and minimizing overtime
• Promote importance of data and service quality within maintenance community
• Ensure application of asset management and maintenance systems data and accurate, timely data entry and reporting
• Participate in technical audits and compliance assessments, and follow up on closure of remedial action plans
• Maintain the required standards of housekeeping
• Ensure quality control
• Investigation and troubleshooting on electrical and mechanical equipment
• Interface management with supplier and client stakeholders

Requisites

• Mechanical or Electrical engineering degree
• 5 years experience in the same position
• Knowledge of both Diesel and Mobile Mechanical equipment ( experience with Gas Engines)
• Knowledge of Health and Safety regulations
• Ability to train and develop team members
• Sense of urgency with regards to production requirements
• Fluent in English
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
