CISM is recruiting a Malaria Elimination Junior Medical Entomologist, to be based in Manhiça.
Duties
- Support in all operational entomological research activities (both field and laboratory) for the Malaria Elimination Project in the South of Mozambique
- Provide assistance to the Senior Entomologist
- Support in data analysis, the dissemination of research results, and its translation into elimination strategies
- Work and communicate with the overall Malaria elimination team at CISM
Requisites
- Undergraduate (bachelor's) degree in biological or molecular sciences
- Experience on epidemiological research in the field or molecular research in the lab (DNA extractions, ELISA, qPCR, etc)
- Experience managing and analysing large data sets of data
- Knowledge of English and Portuguese
- Knowledge of statistical analyse software

- Occasionally overnight stays in our Magude office are required
