Description
- The U.S. Embassy Maputo is recruiting for the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) - Management and Operations, office of HR & Workforce Development a Management & Operations Clerk
- The M&O Clerk is responsible for updating records, preparing a variety of documents, and carrying out different administrative and clerical duties to support the M&O Office. The maintenance and storage of all employee records and documents will be under direct guidance of the supervisor and in accordance with the US Government and CDC Atlanta policies and procedures
- Work hours: Part-time; 20 hours/week
- Salary: Unpaid Internship
- Length of hire: January 9, 2023 – July 7, 2023 (6 months)
Duties
- Update Procurement records
- Insert data in the Workforce system
- Update Personnel Files
- Update Share Drive data on Time and Attendance spreadsheet
- Assist in scheduling online meetings and onboarding appointments
- Type variety of documents in drafts
Requisites
- Language: English (Written, Spoken, Listening) Level III and Portuguese (Written, Spoken, Listening) Leve III (This will be tested)
- Computer: Basic knowledge of MS applications, such as Outlook, Word and Excel, MS SharePoint
- Education: Minimum of two years of university studies in education, human resources, psychology, social sciences, administration, management, or related field is required
- Experience: Basic knowledge of HR operations (onboarding, data entry and records management) and able to operate a variety of office tools, including computer, photocopier, and printer
- Other Skills: Solid organizational and time-management skills, good communication, attention to details, and an ability to work individually and as part of a team
