Marketing Assistant

• AflaLivre Moçambique SA is a Mozambican producer and distributor of the granular biopesticide Aflasafe, and a processor of shelled groundnuts for domestic consumption and exports. Our vision is to reduce aflatoxin levels in Mozambique, improve human and animal well-being by reducing health risks caused by aflatoxin, and increase the presence of high-quality Mozambican groundnuts in international markets while developing a strong local market for aflatoxin-free products. We are seeking an experienced Marketing Assistant to support our marketing efforts and contribute to increasing our sales volume and brand awareness in Mozambique

Duties

• Assist in the development and implementation of AflaLivre’s marketing and sales strategies
• Support in building and maintaining strategic relationships with key industry players
• Help prepare and monitor the marketing budget on a quarterly and annual basis
• Collaborate with media organizations to arrange promotions and media coverage
• Coordinate and assist in organizing sales events, trainings with dealers, cooperatives, and other promotional activities
• Aid in the creation and management of marketing materials, website content, and social media platforms
• Track and report on the performance of marketing campaigns
• Maintain and update the client database
• Assist in analyzing consumer and partner behavior to inform marketing strategies

Requisites

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field
• Some experience in marketing management or related roles
• Familiarity with marketing campaigns and activities
• Knowledge of current trends and technologies in marketing
• Experience or interest in agriculture, fertilizer industry, or related fields is a plus
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in MS Office and office management software (Outlook, Excel, Word, Adobe, etc.)
• Demonstrate initiative, responsibility, and flexibility
• Ability to think creatively and work independently
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn and adapt
• Letter of interest (in Portuguese and English)
