A anonymous company operating in fuel area is recruiting a Marking Supervisor, to be based in Maputo, Nacala, Beira and Pemba, Mozambique.
Duties
- Receive, confirm and sign for markers volume stocks assigned to him by the Branch Manager
- Is responsible of all markers volume stocks
- Maintain proper up-keep and safety of inventory books, and any other company document at all times
- Confirm complete separation of markers and their respective marking equipment
- Receive, confirm, sign for and be responsible for the keys assigned to him by the company management for the marking point and storage cabinets
- Responsible for the overall security and safe keep of the markers stocks at the marking point
- Responsible of locking of any room and cabinets in the marking point, where marker and company equipment exist
- Prepare, process and distribute the markers for marking of tankers/trains, accurately and timely
- Confirm that each and every marked P.O’s detail is written and filled correctly on the P.O form, all signatures and depot stamps exists
- Responsible of all marking operator’s proper performance, execution of their tasks and actions under him/her in the marking point
- Report to the Operation Manager or HR Manager on any HR related matters that occur in the marking point during the time of his/her assignment there
- Confirm that all marking procedures are being followed at all times at the marking point
- Confirm that all safety procedures are being followed and implemented by himself/herself and all Marking Operators in the marking point (wearing of all safety equipment; over coast’s, gloves, boots, eye goggles, masks and any other safety instructions according to the company and terminal policies)
- Responsible of the well up keep and cleanliness of the marking room, and all other marking equipment in the marking point
- In charge of communication between the terminal appointed officers and the company’s marking team
- Receiving of signed over time request forms from the terminal, and communicating the terminal overtime request to Operation Manager
Requisites
- Bachelor level
- Team management ability
- A technical background is a plus
- Petroleum (Oil & Gas) experience is a plus
- Three (3) years of relevant professional experience in leading a small team in similar activity
- Ability to work autonomously and under pressure
- Demonstrated ownership of responsibilities
- Focus on quality and results
- Written and verbal communication
- Organized and efficient
- Capable of working in a multicultural environment
- Punctuality and accountability are mandatory
