Aldelia is recruiting a Material Co-ordinator (m/f), to be based in Inhambane, Mozambique.
Duties
  • Under the guidance and leadership of the Material Management Lead, shall provide day to day support for the Supply Base material and equipment handling functions, in relation to the receipt, verification, storage, and dispatch of cargo and equipment together with maintaining accurate inventory movement records and reporting, assuring that all Well Delivery activities in Mozambique are conducted safely and responsibly and in accordance with the One Company’s SHE Excellence Approach, industry good practice, and the law
  • The purpose of this and all Company’s Well Delivery roles is to Safely Deliver Quality wells and to personally contribute to Mozambique skills transfer
  • All responsibilities shall be carried out under the direction of the Materials Management Lead
  • Drive Company’s Life Saving Rules & SHE performance in the T3 base, responsible for ensuring all requirements are met
  • Create safe working conditions by implementation and compliance with Company’s Life Saving Rules & SHE Management plan
  • Participate in and provide administrative support for daily toolbox talks
  • Track, capture and record the daily base fuel, waste and water usage
  • Ensure Waste Management disposal volumes are correct and in line with disposal records
  • Support the timely and efficient transportation of materials and equipment required to ensure daily operations are safely supported without disruption
  • Will periodically carry out accurate inventory counts and stock checks, including recoding of same
  • Participate in emergency drills as directed by the MML and Company’s SHE representative, in accordance with SHE plans and procedures. Shall be prepared to respond in emergency situations
  • Ensure the timely and accurate completion all documentation required for tracking of material and equipment in and out of T3 Supply Base
  • Shall assist with mechanical handling equipment and HGV vehicle maintenance and inspection program, in liaison with the ILS Workshop Manager and Journey Coordinator
  • Ensure all lifting accessories, CCU’s and mechanical handling equipment being used for loading and offloading are maintained, fully certified and fit for purpose prior to use
  • May be required to participate in daily operations meetings with the Well Delivery Team and ILS, together with the preparation of meeting minutes
  • Manage and maintain Company PPE and stationary inventory, together with raising and communicating requests for purchase
  • Assists with administrative duties
Requisites
  • 10 years logistics and materials management experience within an Oil and Gas environment, preferably drilling operations
  • 5 years exposure to Supply Base Management operations
  • 5 years exposure to remote geographical operations
  • Experience, knowledge and understanding of materials control processes and procedures including inventory control, warehouse, yard operations and accurate record keeping
  • Shall be familiar with oilfield materials and equipment
  • Conducted Banksman/Slinger Training course
  • Knowledge and demonstrated understanding of Dangerous Goods movements by air, sea & land
