PSI is recruiting a M&E Manager (m/f), to be based in Maputo, Mozambique.
Duties
- Conduct baseline assessment of programmatic and system requirements, including identification of key HIV ST (Self Testing) indicators for tracking at local and national level
- Develop appropriate monitoring tools to assess the distribution models selected for phased scale-up
- Conduct evaluations of different distribution models (e.g. community-based models) for their integration with existing health delivery system based on program data
- Review available consumer and provider insights and data from acceptability studies to guide HIV ST communications and demand creation strategy
- Pre-test materials and messages through communities
- Share results from assessments and evaluations through team working groups (TWGs) at country level to influence policy and guideline adoption
- Coordinate short term technical assistance (STTA) on M&E related tasks
- Develops Data Quality Assessment (DQA) Plans
- Conducts regular data quality assessments as planned in the DQA plan
- Support MOH during development/implementation of External Quality Audit Systems and post-market surveillance systems
- Ensures timely delivery of feedback to field staff and partners
- Monitors the implementation of recommended actions
- Coordinate the preparation of program reports in line with donor reporting requirements
- Support the PSI M&A and programs team in other activities
Requisites
- Degree in Bio-statistics, Social Sciences, Public Health or any other relevant field
- M & E qualification from a recognized institution is an added advantage
- At least 5 years working for international development partners implementing health projects
- At least 3 years of experience with M&E systems strengthening, program/project design, program and health related data management and monitoring in international organizational settings
- Demonstrated experience in reporting tools, data analysis, donor reporting, and facilitation of use of data for decision-making
- Demonstrated computer skills and experience with SPSS and/or STATA, Excel and spreadsheets
- Familiarity with reporting systems such as Demographic Health Information System (DHIS2)
- Demonstrated experience in developing M&E work plans and budgets for M&E activities
- Experience working with HIV Programs (HTS, Prevention and C&T) is an added advantage
- Working proficiency in English
