Mechanical Engineer

Capital Outsourcing is recruiting a Mechanical Engineer, to be based in Tete, Mozambique.

Duties

• Assess project requirements
• Estimate budget and scope of project
• Oversee installation, operation, maintenance, and repair to ensure that machines and equipment are installed and functioning according to specifications
• Design systems and components that meet needs and requirements
• Measuring the performance of mechanical components, devices and engines
• Evaluate engineering approaches and risks to produce and iterate development plans
• Prepare product reports and documentation
• Train and support clients and staff
• Solicit observations from operators
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

Requisites

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• At least 5 to 10 years’ experience
• Previous experience within industrial workshop management
• Ability to communicate technical knowledge in a clear and understandable manner
• SAP knowledge
• Technical writing skills
• Knowledge of Health and Safety Act
• The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
