CBE is recruiting a Mechanical Technician - Mobile Equipment (m/f), to be based in Maputo, Mozambique.
Duties
- Perform mechanical maintenance, fault finding and monitoring of automobile equipment and other related equipment and perform tasks assigned by the Supervisor
- Ensure maximum operational availability of cranes for diagnostic work and repair methods
- Send routine inspection and monitoring reports as needed
- Perform duties independently when called and report failures and failures
- Assume additional responsibility for the maintenance of mobile equipment in the absence of Supervisor
- Ensure that the emergency work is monitored, reporting to the Supervisor
- Ensure that work practice is in compliance with the regulations and safety procedures
- Ensure that all preventive (mechanical) maintenance is performed as defined in the system
- Participate in collapses as reported by the Planning and Administrator on the basis Immediate
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date information is provided on the service order to enter the system
- Ensure that the service order is generated (in coordination with the person responsible for planning) for all mechanical work performed on the mobile equipment
- Send correct information about the start and end times of maintenance. Carry out maintenance activities according to defined schedules
- Obtain approval from the supervisor before making the purchase requisition and sending to the stores
- Ensure cleaning and cleaning of workshop facilities and all equipment by what your team is responsible for
Requisites
- Experience in containers in sea port and/or environment of heavy equipment. Required: 2 to 3 years
- 12th grade with specialization in mechanical systems. Preferred: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- Preferential work experience in heavy equipment in ports, mining, steel industry
- Detailed knowledge of a wide range of mechanical equipment, motors diesel, transmissions, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, brakes
