ADPP is recruiting a Monitoring and Evaluation Advisor, to be based in Maputo, Mozambique.
Duties
- The Community-Based HIV Services in the Southern Region Program will contribute to achieving epidemic control in Mozambique by reaching people living with HIV (PLHIV) through strategic community interventions
- The enhancement and improvement in HIV treatment, nutrition, general health outcomes, and livelihoods of PLHIV, including children, women and families in Maputo, Gaza, and Inhambane are the overall objectives of the Program
- The position will be filled, contingent on funding
- Develop a comprehensive program management plan
- Responsible for all monitoring, evaluation and reporting activities
- Lead the development of and manage the Monitoring and Evaluation Plan
- Develop and maintain systems to collect and analyze information on inputs, outputs, outcomes and impact of the program
- Conduct supportive supervisory visits to districts and to district supervisors to observe, monitor, guide, and provide feedback on the use of data and indicators
- Analyze data, and support training of M&E personnel
Requisites
- Degree in Demography, statistics, epidemiology, mathematics or relevant technical training and courses with proven experience
- At least 5 years of experience related to monitoring, evaluating and reporting on programs related to development, Health, with at least 3 years of experience in Health and/or HIV-related programming
- Demonstrated statistical analysis skills and use of relevant software
- Experience in design and implementation of M&E systems in Health and HIV/AIDS programs
- Proven ability to work in intellectual environments, including strong client engagement skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Portuguese
- Enthusiasm for and commitment to development work
- Hands-on and proactive approach
- Fluency in English and Portuguese
