Mozambique Branch Technical, Marketing and Sales Executive

Bedson is recruiting a Mozambique Branch Technical, Marketing and Sales Executive, to be based in Maputo.

Duties

• Achieve marketing and sales operational objectives by contributing marketing and sales information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing customer-service standards; resolving problems; completing regulatory branch audits; identifying trends; determining system improvements; implementing change
• Meet marketing and sales financial objectives by forecasting requirements; assist in preparing an annual budget; assist in scheduling expenditures; initiating corrective actions
• Determine annual sales quotas for regions; projecting expected sales volume for existing and new products; analyzing trends and results; recommending selling prices to head office; monitoring costs, competition, supply, and demand
• Accomplish marketing and sales objectives by planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating advertising, merchandising, and trade promotion programs; developing field sales action plans
• Identify marketing opportunities by identifying customer requirements; defining market, competitor's share, and competitor's strengths and weaknesses; forecasting projected business; establishing targeted market share
• Improve product marketability and profitability by researching, identifying, and capitalizing on market opportunities; coordinating new product development
• Sustain rapport with key accounts by making periodic visits; exploring specific needs; anticipating new opportunities
• Provide information by collecting, analysing, and summarizing data and trends
• Provide product training to our customers/distributors to stimulate demand
• Protect organization's value by keeping information confidential
• Accomplish marketing and organization goals by completing related results as needed

Marketing and Sales Manager Skills and Qualifications

• Marketing Strategy, Marketing Concepts, Positioning, People Management, Territory Management, Sales Planning, Competitive Analysis, Understanding the Customer, Product Development, Client Relationships, Creative Services, Implementing marketing strategies

Requisites

• Minimum of 3 years sales and marketing experience of animal health products in Mozambique
• Bachelor of Veterinary science or equivalent
• Must be able to read/ write and talk English
• CV must be in English
