Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Technician

Capital Outsourcing is recruiting a Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Technician, to be based in Matola, Mozambique.

Duties

• Interpret or evaluate test results in accordance with applicable codes, standards, specifications, or procedures
• Interpret design or operational test results
• Interpret the results of ultrasonic method of non-destructive testing (NDT)
• Identify defects in solid materials using ultrasonic testing techniques
• Test characteristics of materials or structures
• Prepare reports on non-destructive testing (NDT) results

Requisites

• Degree in Engineering or Technology
• Completion of Ultrasonic Testing training course & certification is a must
• At least 3 years of experience
• Detail oriented with the ability to complete handwritten compliance documentation neatly and accurately
• Critical thinking - using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems
