Duties

Your key roles will include but not limited to:
- Overseeing the daily operations for Alistair Services in Mozambique. This involves running the head office in Pemba and overseeing remote sites including Palma and Nacala:
- Introducing clear systems and processes to all aspects of the business to ensure the Company is poised for further growth
- Completing tender submissions and due diligence paperwork needed to get us registered with new clients
- Communicating clearly and effectively with the HQ
- Understanding clients' needs and problems and providing solutions using Alistair Group current and potential resources
- Identifying new projects and strategic areas in which we should invest
- Managing a fragmented team and clients and keep the operations going
- Deal with customer complaints rapidly and professionally in liaison with the Key Account Holder/Business Development
- Ensure that all internal inputs to operations is of the highest quality i.e Suitably trained, competent and disciplined drivers from HR; Suitably maintained and supported vehicles from Workshop; timely cash flow from Finance; reliable tracking systems from IT; Complete and accurate Job Confirmations from BD and KAMs
Requisites
- Leadership skills to motivate and inspire team members
- Clear communication skills ensuring clear and candid information
- Strong management skills ensuring efficient use of resources
- Computer Literacy to effectively operate and manipulate online management systems
- Faultless administration skills ensuring accurate and efficient procedures
- Problem solving skills to ensure obstacle to progress are overcome
- A minimum of University Graduate Degree in any relevant discipline or equivalent vocational experience in Transport/Logistics service support
- Experience in oil & gas industry (preferable)
- Fluent in English and Portuguese is preferable
