Operations Manager

Duties

• Logistic management:
• Consumables
• Spares parts
• Equipment maintenance and purchase
• Vehicle
• Staff transport
• Sample logistics
• Ensure procedures are adhered to:
• Equipment handling
• Reports
• HR Management:
• Anticipate recruitment needs
• Ensure staff appraisal and promotion/sanctions are performed
• Overview staff attendance
• Discipline and overview of the operations from preparation, plant and lab areas
• Operations improvement
• Develop infrastructure to better deliver the services (i.e. 4th product line in Prep, flow process of operations)
• Forward thinking - anticipate the flow of marketing samples, projects, audits, campaigns - anticipate the need for personnel, extra hours and training

Requisites

• Over 8 years of experience and know-how in operations, production, and logistics
• Strong leadership skills
• Know-how in mining, preferably
