SSG Advisors is seeking qualified technical specialists in private-sector engagement for an anticipated multiyear, USAID-funded, Feed the Future agriculture project in Mozambique.
Duties
- Lead the development of public-private partnership initiatives and activities
- Explore, implement, and advocate for opportunities to engage the private sector, public sector, and community groups around agricultural development to address food security issues in Mozambique
Requisites
- Degree in business administration, economics, finance, or another relevant discipline from an accredited university
- At least 7 years experience in southern Africa, preferably in investment or economic development, or with business associations
- A proven ability to identify and establish high-value partnerships with the private and public sector stakeholders and to leverage private investment
- Experience designing capacity building events and facilitating training sessions for a variety of audiences
- Fluency in Portuguese and English
- Mozambique citizenship or residency highly preferred
