Heading is recruiting for its client, a Planning and Reporting Supervisor, to be based in Afungi, Mozambique.
Duties
- Assist socioeconomic development teams to establish, monitor and evaluate performance indicators
- Write and coordinate the writing of weekly, monthly, and annual reports to internal and external stakeholders
- Organize and implement monitoring forums routines to socioeconomic topics;
- Coordinate and Implement performance centers / FMDS on all SED areas;
- Ensuring alignment and coordination of actions between cross functional teams (i.e., social investment and resettlement)
- Identify gaps in implementation activities and programs across sectors and provide synergetic solutions
- Review engagement qualitative report and media analysis dashboard;Review IP reports and provide guidance to achieve the objectives established in the SOW
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders (social investment, resettlement, local content, gov affairs and others) the correct definition of Social economic KPI on the SOW;
- Implement above risk management framework
- Develop a 52-week plan of SED (Social Economic Development) Process and implement a monitoring and learning process
- Context and environment
- The position is based in Maputo, travel to other areas (Cabo Delgado and Nampula) will be required (30x70)
- The position involves working with a diverse team within socioeconomic development unit, implementation partners and other relevant unit
- Assist project teams to maintain a broad-based project enabling environment including social license to operate in the project
- Footprint area through providing timely and regular information about potential risks and areas of concern
- Assist project teams to manage social impacts and risks by providing timely and regular information on impacts identified inm engagements and grievance
- Assist project teams on designing of mitigation measures for identified risks
- Assist SED teams on planning and reporting and ensure on-time and quality delivery
- Requisites
- 5 years’ experience in social data management, quality assurance and analysis
- Comprehensive understanding of workflow and data maintenance
- Understanding of social processes and social license data tracking and trending
- Experience in the design and management of data quality assurance procedures
- Familiarity with global industry best practice environmental and Social Performance and reporting standards, requirements, and guidelines
- Experience in the analytics and use of data to enhance, plan, and facilitate improved Socioeconomic development
- Excellent command of Portuguese, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in English, both written and verbal is required
