Heading is recruiting a Population & Development M&E Coordinator (m/f), to be based in Afungi, Mozambique.
Duties
- Establish KPIs for the functional areas under P&D and design logical frameworks
- Provide technical support to different SP functions to understand specific project-related KPIs and how to interpret them
- Monitor and Evaluate functional area programs
- Design and conduct quantitative and qualitative monitoring activities and evaluations
- Ensure alignment and coordination of actions between cross-functional teams (i.e.social investment and business development)
- Identify gaps in implementation activities and programs across sectors and provide synergetic solutions
- Supervise and mentor monitoring officers
- Conduct monitoring visits to evaluate program effectiveness and impact
- Gender, human rights, youth, and ecosystem services will be crosscutting themes that will need to be monitored
Requisites
- Bachelor´s degree in Development, Social Sciences, Research Methods or relevant field, Master´s preferred or work experience equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience, with a proven track record in project monitoring and evaluation and reporting
- Experience in designing and implementing surveys and qualitative studies, preferably in remote rural areas
- Experience in establishing KPIs, log frames, and designing outcome evaluations for development programs
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment with relatively short turn-around time for deliverables
- Knowledge of IFC performance standards and experience in the extractive industry preferred
- Awareness, knowledge and understanding and experience in a diversity of fields that together make up social performance including stakeholders engagement, resettlement, social investment, project induced in-migration
- Ability to pass company physical, drug screen, and background security check
- Experience in working with multinational companies is an advantage
- Computer skills including proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Valid driver´s license with no restrictions that would prohibit driving a company vehicle is required
- Experience in engaging or collaborating with Government institutions
- Fluent in Portuguese and English
