Portfolio Coordinator (PC) – Agriculture & Trade (m/f)

Description

• The SPEED program is seeking qualified candidates to serve in the role of Portfolio Coordinator (PC) for Agriculture & Trade. The Portfolio Coordinator (PPC) will support both Portfolio Managers (PM) and activities under the Agriculture and Trade components by establishing, administering, overseeing, and following-up on short- term technical assistance (STTA) special assignments; supporting monitoring and evaluation (M&E); and administering portfolio activities, events, and reporting

Requisites

• Successful candidates will demonstrate the following experience and qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field required; advanced degree preferred
• 6+ years’ of relevant professional experience, on trade and business environment and agriculture
• Ability to effectively manage and deliver technical assistance on time and within budget
• Experience working on USAID-funded projects is preferred
• Ability to respond effectively to time sensitive demands & inquiries
• Excellent organizational skills with a willingness to take initiative
• Excellent communications and personnel management skills and ability to relate to people at all levels of an organization and of different multi-cultural backgrounds
• Ability to speak in public and lead formal meetings with high-level government officials
• Competency in the English language, both spoken and written
