Twigg Exploration & Mining is recruiting a Product Handling Technical Clerk, to be based in Balama, Mozambique.
Duties
- Administration & Documentation: Coordinate office activities and operations to secure efficiency and compliance to company policies
- Manage agendas/travel arrangements/appointments etc. for Product Handling team
- Support budgeting adherence
- Create and update records and databases with personnel, financial and other data
- Track stocks of office material and area consumables (e.g. new bags and fuel) and place orders when necessary
- Submit timely reports and prepare presentations/proposals as assigned
- Ensure that all documentation is accurate and completed in a professional and timely manner
- Responsible for co-ordinating the filing and administration in a professional and orderly manner
- Ensure all relevant operational policy and procedure manuals are maintained and updated
- Record, place and track orders for product shipment
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of all product loading and other material received in accordance with good business practice
- Participates in scheduled training sessions such as required safety training and work related sessions as well as back-to-work safety meetings
- May work independently as assigned or in a group setting and can be assigned to other jobs as required
- Assist colleagues whenever necessary
- Product Handling Operations: Perform Physical Inventory Count activities
- Ensure proper stock rotation (FIFO)
- Ensure truck Loading as per customer requirement, in line with sales and Marketing
- Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage
- Complies with policies published and Employee Safety Standards as well as posted notices
- May work independently or in a group and can be assigned to other jobs as required
Requisites
- Bachelor Degree in administration or equivalent
- Two (2) or more years of work experience as an office administrator, office assistant or relevant role
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- Familiarity with office management procedures and basic accounting principles
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office and office management software (PRONTO)
- Qualifications in secretarial studies will be an advantage
