We are looking for a Programme Officer with regional knowledge and experience who can work in partnership with local organisations in complex political environments to help us translate our plans for development and justice into reality.
Duties
Working as part of the Mozambique team you will be responsible for developing and ensuring the implementation of CAFOD’s partners actions in the development towards sustainable livelihoods.
Requisites
- Enthusiastic individual with extensive experience of designing and working in programmes of Sustainable Livelihoods, ideally also in Mozambique
- You will have proven experience in programme cycle management, writing proposals and assessing reports, strategic planning and capacity building of local partners in the relevant sector
- Commitment to working in partnership
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills enabling you to build and hold relationships with a broad range of people in various cultural contexts
- Mozambican nationality
- Fluent written and spoken Portuguese and English
